MEET

Susan

CO-FOUNDER + CHIEF PLAY OFFICER

Image with distorted colors and shapes that resemble interconnected arrows and squares.

Hey! I’m Susan McBarnet and I lead all things business at Wild Child. My background is in business, marketing, and branding, and I earned my MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business. After ten years working for American Express, I struck out on my own as a consultant. Today, my family and I live in Westport, CT.

During the Covid quarantine of 2020, I decided to work smarter, not harder when it came to my own wild children. I installed a rock wall in our garage and was amazed at how it improved our lives. Plus, it made our house THE place to be for the kids on our street. After that, I became committed to helping parents prioritize play in their homes without the use of screens or packed schedules.
